The Goût de France initiative

Goût de France/ Good France was created by Laurent Fabius, former Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Development, and Alain Ducasse, a star chef. It is a global event paying a tribute to the excellence of French cuisine, to its capacity for innovation and to the values it conveys: sharing, pleasure and respect of the "eat well" trend, its current chefs and the planet.

Goût de France in Algeria

The operation in Algeria is a major one, and on the 21st of March, throughout the country, many French and Algerian chefs will be busy cooking recipes that draw inspiration from French traditions, but also pay a tribute to the Algerian heritage.

The French embassy in Algeria and the French Institute in Algeria designed a rich programme dedicated to French cuisine, for the greatest happiness of our tongues.

Schedule

In the Résidence des Oliviers

On the evening of the 21st of March, Christophe Die, chef in the French embassy, will cook a high quality dinner with to two talented collaborators: Dominique Dubray, chef of the restaurant "La Bougnate" in Blesle, and Mickaël Couji, chef of the sous-préfecture of Saint-Germain-en-Laye. The meeting will be supervised by Vincent Ruyer, butler of the Résidence, and his team.
(Dinner is upon invitation only)

In partner restaurants

Detailed menus and price and conditions to participate in the dinners (open to the general public or upon invitation) will be published in March.
