Hundreds of company directors, start-up founders, alumni and students-entrepreneurs came to talk with the Digital Communication team as part of the development of their international activities.

Hundreds of company directors, start-up founders, alumni and students-entrepreneurs came to talk with the Digital Communication team as part of the development of their international activities. Many companies were impressed by the strength of the France Alumni network, allowing them to have a wide range of partners to promote their brand, exhibit their activity, recruit multicultural profiles, etc. About 50 companies committed to join the France Alumni network.

Meanwhile, many international students looking for a job or an internship registered to the platform. Javeria Khan, ambassador of the France Alumni Pakistan network was present on the stand.

Jean-Baptiste Lemoyne, Secretary of State to the Ministry of Europe and Foreign Affairs visited the Campus France stand. The digital service team and alumni Javeria Khan presented the potential of the France Alumni network.

 

Many participants attended two workshops offered by Campus France:

Workshop 1: Personal stories: “I created a start-up that facilitates student life.” 

Young entrepreneurs offer solutions designed to improve the reception of international students and researchers (to look for accommodation, open a dedicated bank account, etc.)

General Manager of Garantme, a platform that guarantees the revenue of lessors for renters without a guarantor with a complete, reviewed, certified and guaranteed file.

Director of the Student Concierge Club, a solution that offers quality follow-up as early as the arrival in France.

 

Workshop 2: “Innovative ideas, tips to create your company... Share the experience of international graduates”

Mauro Molinari, Director of Technology at Eye2scan, a tool designed to detect risks allowing to lead audit and internal control activities on information systems

Daniel Correa Mejía, Coordinator at Innergía, a company developing products in which people are the main source of energy.

 

France – Tunisia / Appreciation of laureates of a company creators contest

The French Institute in Tunisia and the Movement for the Young and students (Moovjee Tunisia) have jointly organised in late 2018 a contest to promote entrepreneurship for young Tunisian graduates.
As part of the “Mobility and Development France-Tunisia” project jointly concluded by Campus France and the French Institute in Tunisia, 3 laureates of the contest were welcomed in Paris and had the opportunity to present their solutions in the demozone dedicated to start-ups.

 

Hidayet El Ayadi (25 years old) – Laureate Entrepreneur

 Co-Founder and CEO of Sghartoon, the recreational and educational mobile application designed for children from 3 years old and up to create a learning environment while having fun. The application offers a wide selection of stories from the Tunisian heritage accessible in augmented reality or 3D where children feel they are in 3D movie.

Youssef Boufaied (24 years old) – Project Creator Laureate

 Co-founder of Historio, that allows visitors to discover cultural sites with a augmented reality mobile app. With a smartphone, the application offers an immersive experience that brings historical figures to life to guide you during your visit on the real site.

Souleima Ben Temime (23 years old) – Entrepreneur student laureate

Co-founder of MooVoBrain, a solution adapted to the needs of handicapped individuals and assistants. This is a remote guiding and control system for electric wheelchairs. The system guarantees the security of the user by sending alerts with imminent detection of obstacle through proximity sensors.
