CentraleSupélec is the result of the 2015 merger of two historical institutions: Ecole Centrale des Arts et Manufactures (Ecole Centrale Paris, 1829) and Ecole Supérieure d’Electricité (Supélec, 1894). 

CentraleSupélec aims to become a global benchmark institution, as part of Paris-Saclay University, in the field of Engineering and Systems Sciences.

Its main mission is to train highly qualified executives and researchers for both public and private sectors of business and research.
