Overview
The UPHF was created through the transformation of the University of Valenciennes and Hainaut-Cambrésis. The University of Polytechnique Hauts-de-France (UPHF) is the first "polytechnic" university in France. This new institutional model is based on a reorganization around two main pillars: on one side, science and technology, and on the other, humanities.
UPHF offers 160 programs across three major fields:
- Science, technology, and health
- Law, economics, management
- Arts, letters, languages, humanities
Located on five green, human-scale campuses in Maubeuge, Cambrai, and Valenciennes, UPHF holds the "Bienvenue en France" level 2 label. To promote both interdisciplinary and international professional integration, UPHF is a partner of EUNICE. EUNICE is an alliance of seven European higher education institutions working towards the creation of a new European university.
