Honouring French business school alumni
Network evening at the French residence - 20 September 2018
The Ambassador of France, HE Christophe Farnaud, welcomed the community of alumni from the internationally recognized “Grandes Ecoles” at the French residence on 20 September. Alumni from the elite French business schools, namely ESSEC, HEC, ESCP and the institute of political studies, Sciences Po, were present.
The event celebrated world INSEAD day, but even more so, celebrated the collaboration commitment between the French Embassy and the various French alumni associations. Prospects of the development of the economic and commercial relations and bilateral academic cooperation within the partnership of France and South Africa was highlighted.
The French ambassador addressed the increasing influence of French Higher Education through collaboration amongst French business school alumni in South Africa and Africa. His message was echoed by the three representatives from the various alumni associations: INSEAD, ESSEC and HEC, who shared their success stories and collaboration visions amongst each other. The contribution of Jenny Tyobeka, Founder of JT Executive coaching and advisory services and president of the INSEAD alumni association in South Africa; Christophe Dominique, Associate Partner of Haute Performance and president of the ESSEC Alumni chapter in South Africa, and Eric Pignot, founder and CEO of Enko Education and member of the HEC Alumni chapter in South Africa was greatly appreciated.
