Lancement du 28 novembre 2016
On November 28, 2016, the French embassy and the French Institute have announced the launch of the France Alumni Slovenia network with guests and former students in France.
Three famous Slovenes from various backgrounds presented their experience of France and the impact on their personal and professional lives. During her speech, French ambassador Marion Paradas said:
"Without a doubt, the image of excellence of French higher education played a part in your choice. This quality is acknowledged worldwide, as various rankings show (Shanghai, Financial Times). It's the result of significant investments in my country directed towards education and research, the first expenditure items of France." "
With more than 298,000 students, France is the third host country for students in mobility and the first non-English speaking host country. This performance is due to the quality of French higher education and its diverse offer, but also the reception foreign students benefit from.
The launch of France Alumni Slovenia will allow Slovene alumni and students currently in France to join the global network currently made of 56 countries. They will have the opportunity to access training offers, internships, scholarships, job offers, and to stay informed of French economics, cultural and touristic news.
