Apprendre à l'Alliance Française

L’Alliance française de Tirana fut créée en novembre 1991 sous l’égide de Mme. Drita Hadaj, chef du département de français à l’Université de Tirana, qui instaura le Comité autour d’une quarantaine de personnalités francophones et francophiles: professeurs, parlementaires, représentants des sciences et des lettres.

 

Cette initiative visait, dans un premier temps à soutenir l’apprentissage du français en Albanie. Le 12 mars 1992, la Fondation des Alliances françaises reconnut officiellement le statut de l’Alliance française de Tirana, qui depuis ce jour fait partie du réseau des Alliances françaises, grand réseau mondial, culturel et éducatif, avec plus de 800 institutions en 133 pays.


Notre institution, située rue des Barricades, tout près du centre de Tirana, accueille chaque année environ 1.000 étudiants de différentes tranches d’âge dans des installations qui sont un investissement d’une coopération entre le ministère français des Affaires étrangères et l’Alliance française de Tirana.

 

L'Alliance française est depuis présente dans les villes de Durres, Elbasan, Korça, Shkodra et de Tirana.
