Signature of a French Indonesian consortium (FICEM)

Mines-Nantes, pilot of the development project with Indonesia for the Institute Mines-telecom, setted up a consortium between the Institute and 10 Indonesian universities. The signing of this agreement was realized during the French Indonesian Joint Working Group to Medan on Monday, March, 9th 2015 in the presence of the rector of Mines-Nantes, Anne Beauval.
This consortium is a very interesting beginning for the development of concrete agreements between institutions such as double-degrees, the co-organization of scientific workshops, Sandwich PhD or joint research projects.
From the day after the signature, concrete actions within the framework of FICEM were started with a scientific workshop " Environmental friendly technologies for reducing and controlling the GHG emission from human activities” (EftechGHG)  co-organised by the Prof Yves Andrès and the Dr Sary Awad, Mines-Nantes and the IFI - Institut Français d'Indonésie  and co-financed by the French Ambassy in Indonesia.  11 research works were presented by 12 researchers coming from 3 graduate schools of the institute, Mines-Alès and Mines-Nantes and Mines-Douai, 4 Indonesian universities (Universitas Indonesia, Universitas GadjahMada, Universitas Tanjangpura, Universitas Binus) and with the Indonesian Agency of evaluation and application of the technologies ( BPPT).
More and more Indonesian students will registered in our international MSc, students will be welcome for internship  in both countries as well as development of double Master's degree such as the one with ITB, Teknologi Bandung institute and Mines-Nantes in the field of "Supply Chain Management". A European project within the framework of Erasmus + international mobility between France and Indonesia was put down for the last call in Feb 2015.

On Tuesday, March 10, a dinner was organized with the Indonesian alumni of Mines-Nantes. This meeting allowed to see that our alumni have very beautiful positions in companies and also we launch a network with our Indonesian alumni!
From today the students who are in GOPL and QSF of Mines-Nantes can make a mobility towards ITB institute Teknologi Bandung - ITB where the courts(courses,prices,yards) are in English in this domain. All the students can search for their internship in one of the 10 Indonesian universities of the consortium FICEM.
